    UNBELIEVABLE

    Chris 'Kammy' Kamara was born in Middlesbrough on 25th December 1957 and is of Sierra Leonean, English and Irish descent.

     

    In his career as a professional footballer Kammy played for: Portsmouth, Swindon Town, Portsmouth, Brentford, Swindon Town, Stoke City, Leeds United, Luton Town, Sheffield United, Middlesbrough, Sheffield United, and Bradford City playing over 650 games.

     

    After finishing playing he had two spells as a manager at Bradford City winning promotion via the 1996 Play-off Finals, and at Stoke City.

     

    After management, a career in the media followed and Kammy hosted Sky Sports' Goals On Sunday show for for 20 years and provided additional commentary on some of Sky's biggest televised Championship matches. In 2015 Kammy first hosted ITV's Ninja Warrior UK.

     

    He also appeared on Sky Sports' Soccer Saturday programme, where he usually appears over live video link providing brief updates on whichever match he is watching. He was well-known on the programme for his highly excitable nature, propensity for comical gaffes and tendency to come out with unusual sayings that baffle host Jeff Stelling and the other studio pundits.

     

    In one of his more famous on-air gaffes, he failed to realise that Anthony Vanden Borre had been sent off in the game he was watching between Portsmouth and Blackburn. He has also coined the popular phrase "Unbelievable Jeff!".
